Your Privacy Is Part of the Service

When you trust us with your Bentley, you also trust us with your name and address. Sometimes you share your daily routine too. We treat that information with the same discretion we give the car itself. This policy explains what we hold, why we hold it and how you stay in control.

Who We Are

This website and our Dubai workshop are operated by Bentley Repair Dubai. We are an independent Bentley specialist in Dubai, UAE. We are the controller of the personal data described here.

We handle personal data under Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data. This law is known as the UAE PDPL. Other applicable UAE law also applies.

The Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to look after you and your car.

We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not send it to us.

Why We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • confirm bookings and arrange collection and drop-off;
  • diagnose your car and prepare written quotes;
  • ask for your approval before any work, including extra work;
  • carry out repairs, road tests and quality checks;
  • process payments and issue VAT invoices;
  • handle warranty claims and complaints;
  • manage prepaid service contracts;
  • improve our website and service.

We ask your permission before any client car, name or photo is used in marketing.

We process your data for one of four reasons. It may be needed to provide the service you request. The law may require it, for example for tax records. We may have a legitimate interest in running a safe and efficient workshop. Or you may have given consent. Where we rely on consent, such as for marketing messages, you can withdraw it at any time.

Emails, Forms and Messages

Most owners reach us by email or through our online booking form. We use these channels to share quotes, photos and progress updates. We also use them to record your approvals.

When we contact you about extra work, we note your answer in your service file. That gives us a clear record of what you approved. If you prefer that sensitive matters go only by email, simply tell us.

The Trusted Parties Who May See Your Data

We share data only when it is needed, and only the minimum required.

Recipient Reason
Parts suppliers To order the correct part using your VIN
Your insurer For insurance repairs you ask us to handle
Recovery partners For roadside assistance or towing
Payment providers To process your payment securely
IT and hosting providers To run our website, booking and records systems
Authorities Where UAE law requires it

We do not sell your data. We do not share client lists with anyone.

How Long We Keep It

Service and invoice records are retained discreetly, and only for as long as your care, any warranty matter and UAE tax and legal record-keeping obligations require. Handover photos are kept only while needed to resolve questions about the vehicle’s condition. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.

How We Protect It

Your file is shared only with the people working on your car. Accounts staff see it only where needed. Records sit on password-protected systems. Keys and paper documents are kept secure. Paper is shredded when no longer needed. No system is perfect, but we review our safeguards regularly.

Data Stored in Your Bentley

Modern Bentleys remember a great deal. The infotainment system may hold paired phones, contacts and call logs. It may also hold saved addresses and navigation history. Our diagnostic tools connect to the car’s control units, not to your personal content. We do not copy or browse it.

Before handover, you may wish to unpair your phone or clear your navigation history. A software update or module replacement may reset some settings. We will tell you before this happens. Buying a used car after our pre-purchase inspection? We can show you how to clear the previous owner’s data.

Your Rights

Under the PDPL, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete data we no longer need;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • stop sending you marketing messages;
  • transfer your data to another provider, where the law allows.

Email our team or use the online form to make a request. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond within the time the law allows.

Children

Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, let us know and we will delete it.

Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies so pages load and booking forms work. With your consent, we also use analytics cookies. They show us which pages are useful, such as our engine repair or oil change pages. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be revised as our services evolve or the law changes. The latest version will always appear on this page, with the date of the last update.
